the sound echos around the street

is your response
You realize that you don't see

and that makes you feel a bit more...
nervous
a bit more on guard...
you decide that maybe it's time...
for you to make a quick
exit
and you start to walk

but as you do you hear
what sounds like footsteps
behind you
you turn around and for a split second
you swear you see a figure
move in the fog
but more like a silhouette
then a person
and then it appears as if the silhouette...
jumps...
up against one of the buildings
it's too dark to see the figure on the building
so you decide it's time to run
you turn to flee
turn to run...
but as you do you hear a strange sound
like brick crumbling
and then hear that loud controlled thud behind you
and feel a cool
solid
metallic arm
grab you around your waist
and pull you backwards just a bit
you go to shout
go to make a noise
but the moment you open your mouth
you feel a stream of gas
hit you in the face
that gas surrounds your face
as you breath it in
deeply
quickly
it caught you right as you were inhaling
right as you were about to shout
and the gas seeped right into your body
