And happen to look up at the sky

And then nothing.

You sprint to your car

Pulling out your keys as you get there.
Fumbling with your keys
And then… dropping them on accident.
You bend down to get them and stand back up
And notice
Someone…

Standing on the other side of your car.
You look up and meet a pale
Grey face, with large black eyes.
Cold… emotionless eyes.
Just staring at you.
You shout in surprise and back up in shock.
Your keys falling to the ground.
As you back up you feel something
Behind you.
Like you’ve bumped into something.
Something solid… but something that
Moved…
You turn around to see another figure
Tall and lanky
Pale grey skin
Elongated arms and short legs
And that same creepy not quite human face
With large black eyes
Staring down at you.
You quickly turn to run
Only to discover that you are…
Surrounded…
You spin around…
Trying to find an escape
As they just stare at you
Studying you.
One of them looks to another.
And seems to tilt their head.
The other then raises their hand.
And a beam of light emits from their hand
And shines directly on your face.
The light is overwhelming
But not painful.
The dark night turns to a whirl of soft white
You feel the panic.
And excitement just…
Stop… in your body
You feel your thoughts
Simply end.
No more speculation
No more figuring how to escape.
Just an empty space
Bathed in the light.
Your too blanked out to feel your arms
Drop to your sides
Limp and helpless
Too blanked out to feel your legs

As you start to fall to the ground.
