A nice progressive relaxation induction that leads you down into a nice deep hypnotic trance. Remember, all hypnosis is self hypnosis. You have all the power, I'm simply showing you how to use it. You can easily ignore any suggestion you do not like, and if you need to wake up at any time simply open your eyes and deal with whatever you need to deal with. If you wish to return to trance when you are done, simply take a deep breath, close your eyes, and allow yourself to relax back into trance.

Just allow yourself to get into a comfortable position,
allow your body to relax,
Take a moment to loosen or stretch any muscles that may be tense,
And allow yourself to focus on my words
allow your breathing to flow normally and naturally
pay attention to how you feel when you breathe
how your body moves
how it rises and falls
slowly and gently with each breath in,
and each breath out...
allow your body to slowly relax
as you focus on my words

letting your muscles loosen
and relax
focusing specifically on your feet
become aware of how it feels as the muscles in your feet
relax and loosen
do they feel heavier,
or do they become lighter
do they become numb
or do they tingle
the answer is as unique as you are
become aware of what that answer is
and how your feet feel
And just allow them to relax
more and more
muscle by muscle
starting with your toes
and the pad of your foot.
Moving down along the arch
feel it sliding across the top of your foot
along the instep,
and down around your heel
let all of the muscles loosen
and relax
completely and totally
as you sink down deeper

focusing on my words
aware of your breathing
and just how calm and relaxed you feel
how your feet are relaxing
even more deeply

just allow the feeling of relaxation
to move up a bit higher
into your ankles
loosening the muscles in your ankles
letting them become completely relaxed

to your calves
and your shins

you may feel your calf muscle sinking as it relaxes
you may notice your feet sliding
that's perfectly ok
just let them find a comfortable place to relax
and let go now.
allow the muscle in your shin to loosen
most people can’t even tell they have a muscle in their shin
but you can allow yourself to become aware of how it is relaxing now
and loosening
letting yourself sink down
deeper
and deeper
Allow the feelings of relaxation to rise up,
into your knees
becoming aware of each and every muscle
in and around your knee,
let each one loosen
and relax
along the sides of your knee
along the back
along the bottom
And along top of your knee
let each muscle relax and let go completely
and totally
feeling yourself sliding deeper
and deeper into my words
with each breath you take.
focusing on the relaxation
as it rises up your legs
into the front of your thighs
the big strong muscles that help you climb stairs
feel those muscles loosening
and relaxing
becoming limp
and loose
completely relaxed and calm
and feel the inside of your thighs relaxing
slowly
and gently
as they let go
one by one
until they are completely loose
completely relaxed.
allow the relaxation to move into the back of your thighs
and into your butt
the big muscles that help you walk
that help you to move through your life.
feel them slowly
deeply relaxing
and loosening
letting go completely
and totally
until they are totally limp
totally relaxed
sinking into your chair
even more deeply
even more relaxed
allow your feet and your body
to find a comfortable position
and just alow yourself to simply

letting go
as you feel the muscles along the outside of your thighs
and your pelvis
relaxing
more and more deeply
becoming totally limp
totally loose
completely relaxed and at peace

becoming aware of just how calm you are

realizing that your whole lower body is relaxed and calm now.
and allowing the feeling to move up
into your stomach
building the relaxation as you breathe in
and pushing it out into your body as you breathe out.
letting every breath take you deeper
and deeper
feeling so much more relaxed
and calm
as you focus on your breathing for a moment
and just breathe in

slowly

for a few moments

and now that you can feel the relaxation building in your body
focus on your back
starting at your lower back
and moving up
muscle by muscle
feel the muscles loosening
letting go
and relaxing
completely
and totally
one by one
as they move up your back
loosening

letting everything go
letting everything slip away
feeling the muscles going completely limp
completely loose
all the way up to your shoulder blades
as the muscles in your chest
and your shoulders
relax
and loosen
feeling your chest opening more and more
with each breath
taking in more air
and feeling your chest becoming loose

easier to relax and focus now.
allowing your shoulders to drop
just a bit
as they sink into relaxation
and you sink

feeling the relaxation sliding down your arms
along your biceps
and triceps
Each muscle loosening
and letting go.

As your arms find a comfortable position

allow each finger to flex and move

then let them sink deeper

sliding down
all the way into deep

feel the relaxation moving into them

letting each muscle relax

you can move your neck into a comfortable position if you want

As your jaw relaxes
unclenches
and sinks
further and further down

letting everything slide away
allowing the muscles in your face
and your cheeks
to loosen
allowing your eyes to relax
And drift closed
