Until you come to realize 
That Your Mind Is Gone… 
Everything goes blank 
And you feel yourself fall 
Falling into the void
That used to be your mind
Everything going blank 
As the world around you 
Is slowly replaced… 
With a new world. 
You find yourself out
Exploring a thick 
Tropical forest
It’s very hot
And very humid
But in the shade of the tall 
Thick trees
And with the breeze blowing 
Under the canopy 
You find that you are
Quite cool
Quiet relaxing. 
You’ve been wandering for some time
Fascinated by all of the flowers
And the trees
The sound of the exotic birds
And how the forest just seems to keep
Going… on and on endlessly. 
It's quite an adventure. 
As you move some of the foliage out of the way 
You notice in front of you
Several thick strong vines
Several of them with flowers on them. 
And behind them 
Is the largest Venus Flytrap
That you’ve ever seen. 
It’s outer shell is dark green 
And blends in nicely with the surroundings
And the inside of the trap is soft 
Light pink. 
It actually looks like it would feel 
Soft, smooth as silk almost. 
You can’t help but be fascinated by it. 
Moving closer just a bit
All the while focused on the trap several feet 
In front of you… 
But as you do you happen to touch 
One of the vines. 
The flower right next to you 
Sprays a cloud of sweet smelling spores 
Directly into your face. 
Your first reaction is the pull back
As quickly as you can 
And wave the spores out of your face
But you soon realize
That you are very dizzy 
All of a sudden 
A wave of heaviness
Washes over you. 
You feel your arms 
Barely wanting to move
The hand you were using 
To brush away the spores 
Slowly gets lower
And lower
Heavier… 
With each and every wave
Until both of your arms are limp 
At your sides. 
It’s a disorienting feeling. 
You stumble back a bit
The dizzy feeling in your head
Making it hard to stand up 
And you bump into another group of vines
And another puff of spores 
Sounds your head 
From behind
You feel yourself gasp on surprise
And then sigh softly 
As you fall back 
Into the vines. 
You feel the vines react to your weight. 
Not bending 
Or breaking
But starting instead 
To coil around your body 
One thick vine wraps around your waist
Pinning your arms 
To your sides. 
Another wraps around your legs
And ankles
Pulling your legs tightly together… 
Gravity is not on your side here… 
And you soon find yourself 
Tilting further 
And further back 
Until you start to fall 
Down 
Down 
Down to the ground. 
But the vines seem to catch you 
More or less. 
You still end up on the ground. 
But it’s more gentle
More subtle
You try to clear your head
Realizing that you are
Quiet tightly bound
By the vines
You start to wiggle and thrash 
As best as you can 
Burn then a flower
On the vine wrapped around your chest
Opens and slowly moves towards you 
Its brightly colored
With a pattern that slowly 
Draws your eyes in 
To the center of the flower
You can’t help but pause
For a second
As you wonder what is happening here
And then… 
The flower covers your face
In a thick 
Sweet smelling spores 
You feel your yeah fall back 
A slight sigh escaping your lips
Your eyes roll up into your head
And your eyelids flutter rapidly. 
You're all but unconscious…
All but helpless… 
So much so… 
You don’t even feel the vines
Starting to pull you
Along the forest floor
Slowly 
Dragging you 
Closer
And closer 
To the fly trap… 
Under normal circumstances
You might be afraid. 
But I assure you… 
The fly trap won’t hurt you… 
It just needs a little something from you
Something it can only get… 
From your most.. 
Intimate of pleasure… 
That puts your mind at ease
As the pull of the vines
Drags you slowly 
Along the forest floor
Closer
And closer
To the mouth 
Of the venus flytrap…
