it's always good to take a moment
to refresh
to relax

a minute

So as we all just take a moment

allow yoruself to simply
scan you attention
over your form
over your body
finding every little piece of yoru body
simply relaxing
simply unwinding
maybe you suffered an injury
or an illenss
on the adventure that was
the previous year
just allow yourself
to focus on your body
and alolow the tension
to relax

to simply
become limp
and loose
and calm

sink
into relaxation

and s your body relaxes
simply allow
the energy
the spirit of a new adventure
to fill into your body
to move through every muscle
every joint
every nerve
and allow that energy
to simply heal you
and refresh you
allow it to help you to
rebuild your body
little by little
some people just need a day to relax
others may need longer
to fully find themsleves ready
to tackle this new adventure

Just like your body
your mind has also
been throuh a lot
challenge after challenge
rose up against you
stress and tension
pain and loss
frustration
but yet here you sit
at the end of the year
you have weathered the storms
you have emerged
victorious
so just let all of that
all of the things that weighted on your mind
through the year
let them just
slip away
like snow flakes in the breeze
drifting away
into the distance
the more struggles you had
the more beautiful the snow flakes will be
every struggle
a different
more intricate part
of a crystal
beautiful and strong
just like your mind
drfiting away in the breeze
until you are completely
and totally calm now
Seven
just allow a stillness
to wash over your mind
as the snow flakes blow away in the breeze
the clouds that formed
them
seem to part
and a star filled sky
appears above your head
the perfect winters night
cold and crisp
but... still
peaceful
with a moon shining brightly in the sky
to help light your path forward
and every twinkling star

another adventure

but the emotions that you feel
are a sign of all that your soul
has been through this year
and it has been a year for many
myself included
it's ok to let those emotoins out
to simply allow yoruself
to release them
to let them go
we all do it
in our own way
and that is the last part...
that you need to heal
to let go
is to simply

and allow yourself to feel
and release
and relax
and as the year draws to a close...
now is the perfect time..
to let that happen.
FIVE

you can feel an energy
building inside of you
like an engine that is starting up
after a long long time
sputtering at first
as the gunk and dust
of the strain and tension
is pushed out
and then roaring to life
you can feel your heart
your soul
turning on
focusing on the things you enjoy
the things that make you
excited
and energized
the things that make you smile
it may be something as simple
as a game
or a book
a conversation with a friend
or sitting down with a pet
and just relaxing
it's the little thingsin life
that give us the most power
the most energy
just let those things...
fill your heart
and energize your soul...

as you feel your mind
your body
and your soul
healing
and recharging
you start to think of
the people
that go with you on yoru adventures
yoru friends and family'
maybe even pets
sure we all get a little frustrated with family
and friends
but deep down
we know we care for them
and that there are some people
central to our lives
people that we love
and cherrish.
just allow yourself to think of those people
be they here with you now
or far far away
some may have passed, beyond the veil.
while others may simply be across the hall
we all have peple that help us
and care for us
take a moment to simply
think of those people
and let their care
fil yoru heart
like fuel in your gas tank
it readies you for your adventure

getting so close
close to that point in time
whenver the page flips
when the time will come
for you to push forward
into new adventures
maybe what you want the most
is a major life change
or maybe what you want
is to stabilize what you have
or maybe you simply want
a little time
to rest
and relax
to reflect

no one can pick the adventure that you go on next
no one but you...

you have your friends and family

be thankful
for all that you have
no just the people around you
but the experiences
and struggles
that brought you to where you are

who you are

so much

but you have made it through
and now that you are rested
and repaired
rebuild
and strong
you can acknowledge
the path that brought you here
and give yoruself credit
for all you have over come
you should be proud of yourself
and although I don't know
every struggle you have faced
I am proud of you for making it
this far
and excited to see
what new adventures
and challegnes
you over come
in the year ahead.

one moment of peace
a year sits behind you

but you will have your victories
and your celebrations
