You pick up the package

You set the package down and begin to open it

Tearing away the box only to find

What looks like a block 

A pure black latex 

Sitting inside.

You pick up the block in your hand

It has an almost

Squishy feeling

Like thick rubber

And it’s surprisingly heavier

Then you thought it would be. 

You can’t help but just 

Move it around looking at it

But then

As if all at once

The block in your hand

Seems to melt

Tar like ooze

That starts to coat your hand

In a panic you back away

The oozing black tar

Seeming to coat your arms

The thick latex like feel of the ooze

You struggle to move your arms

Trying to fling off the thick 

Growing ooze

But it’s stuck to you 

And expanding

It’s up to your shoulders

And you feel it almost

Taking control of your arms

Moving them down to slide along your chest

And your stomach

Down along your legs

Every place your touches

As the thick latex moves along your bare skin
